1. Update - If you're still using Internet Explorer 6, or another browser, update to the newest version available. The web will be faster, more functional and friendly.
2. Control the Cookies - Every so often, be sure to clean out your web history. Yes, it's a pain retyping those passwords, but it helps keep away viruses and saves space on your computer.
3. Tab That - Take advantage of the tabs and use CTRL + T to save computer memory and time spent closing and opening programs.
4. Homepage - Turn your homepage into a tool by using iGoogle, Netvibes, or MyYahoo to put all your news and messages right up front whenever you open your browser.
5. Sane Security - Web security is a must, but overdoing it might make ruin your internet experience. If you've been blocking the world, try tinkering with your settings a bit to find the balance between safety and satisfaction.
