Sitepro Supports STEPS, A Technology Camp for Girls

Jun 10, 2009 by Kate Rafko

The Science Technology and Engineering Preview at UW-Stout for Girls (STEPS) will be taking place again this summer in June and July. Sitepro is supporting this exciting program by sponsoring two girls to attend the weeklong technology camp.

STEPS is an introduction to the exciting world of science, technology and engineering. Campers participate in a variety of workshops that give them hands-on experience with high-tech equipment and processes. An example of program activities during the week includes designing, manufacturing, and piloting a radio controlled boat. Campers will photograph and write articles about their activities that they will combine at the end of the week to create a newsletter in UW-Stout's Graphic Communications Laboratory.

Sitepro is proud to support a program that inspires young ladies to consider careers in science, technology, and engineering. To learn more about the program, visit STEP's website.
