Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist Wanted

Sitepro.com, LLC, a Western Wisconsin Website Development and Video Production Company, has an immediate opening for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist.

Job Description

  • Conducting in-depth keyword research
  • Writing and optimizing effective website content for our clients' target audiences as well as for search engines (On-Page SEO)
  • Conducting strategic link building efforts to enhance our clients' search engine rankings and website traffic (Off-Page SEO)
  • Creating social media profiles on a variety of social media platforms and training our clients on how to effectively take part in social networking
  • Advising our clients on all aspects of SEO, PPC, social media, web analytics and other online marketing strategies and best practices
  • Gathering and analyzing data from various sources (web analytics, competitive analysis, keyword research, etc.) to produce creative, data-driven solutions

Required Attributes

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Analytical, creative problem solving abilities

Required Knowledge

  • Understanding of on-page and off-page SEO concepts, strategies, tools and best practices
  • Understanding of online marketing concepts, strategies and best practices
  • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office software (advanced Excel knowledge is ideal)
  • Knowledge and experience using keyword research tools (Word Tracker, Keyword Discovery, Google Keyword Tool, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience using web analytics programs (primarily Google Analytics)
  • Knowledge and experience with XHTML and Adobe Photoshop is desired, but not required

Required Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in search engine optimization (SEO) with an emphasis on link building and social networking
  • Experience in online or technical writing

Content Specialist Wanted

Sitepro.com, LLC, Western Wisconsin's Premiere Website Development and Video Production Company, has an immediate opening for a Content Specialist. This position will include working within a team of Content Specialists. Primary duties include content gathering utilizing interviews, email, and worksheets to collect text, images, and other materials from clients in order to write compelling and efficient web copy, optimized for search engines.

Applicants should be comfortable with technical writing that interprets client-provided product and business information used to create narrative website content compatible with the needs and understanding of a target audience. The Content Specialist should possess strong written and oral communication skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and a familiarity with standard web and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) practices. Experience with XHTML and Adobe Photoshop is desired, but not required.
